Our objective for the project was to create an all LED lighting and con-trols solution for the building’s exterior and site to maximize the energy savings and minimize the maintenance. This project was conceived in 2011 and required extensive research to find the most appropriate LED fixtures with hazardous environment ratings and efficient control options to work with the facility’s schedule and location. All exterior building lighting is controlled by photocell and astronomical timer to minimize any disruption of night life and minimize energy consumption.

Location: Petaluma, CA
Scope: All LED Lighting and controls design for the award-winning U U.S. Coast Guard’s new Wastewater Treatment Facility. The facility was designed to enhance the visual environment for the surrounding family housing and reduces the base’s potable demand by 20,000,000 gallons a year.
